Air India Tickets Fare Basis
I am around 7000 Premier Qualifying Miles short of retaining my Gold Status with UA MP. I wanted to book local travel with AI and get these.
For AI travel, only Full Fare Economy have 100% PQMs:
Full Fare Economy Y, B, M, H, K, Q, V, W, G 100%
How can I get the fare basis for a travel while booking on AI? I tried to book a travel but cannot get this information anywhere before the final purchase. Any ideas?
Any other ideas to meet the 7K PQM shortfall? Thanks.

Got it. For some reason, it did not show yesterday. I can see it now.
Looks like only for the most ridiculous fare is there 100% PQM for UA MP. That would require me to take a lot of flights to get the 7K PQMs.
Any other ideas or options? Thanks.

try checking an international fare to dubai, bangkok or another nearby destinations....very often it will get you more miles & will be cheaper than taking a number of domestic flights....

I am bumping this thread up, as I have a similar question:
How do you find the fare basis/fare code when you try to book a multi-city itinerary, with more than 5 segs, on AI website? It is not displayed beneath the price, and the fare rules area is blank. Even the fare rules pop-up is blank.
I was able to see the codes for simple rt/one-way, and with multi-city for upto 3-4 sectors. Has anyone tried to view the fare rules with >=5 sectors? And if so, how do you do it? Thanks!!
