Jet Airways- Etihad Baggage ?

I have a flight IDR (Indore, IN)-SFO San Francisco, via BOM and AUH. My question is I will have one checked bag from IDR and I want to add one checked bag from BOM will that be possible??

My layover in BOM is approx 6hrs. The outbound from idr-bom is on 9w and the rest of segement is on etihad. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Yeah of course. Just head over to the check-in counters and drop the bag off, they will add the tag to your AUH-SFO boarding pass.

is it all on one or separate tickets????

unless you have to go through immigration at idr, you should be able to add another bag in bom....

Why would the OP go through immigration at IDR? He is flying 9W IDR-BOM. Also, one ticket or separate tickets doesn't matter in this case.

the op is flying idr-sfo....not sure if its one ticket or separate tickets from idr-bom or idr-auh via bom....

i've flown del-lhr & del-jfk via bom in the past & have had to go through immigration at del....not sure if its the same in idr....

it does matter because i have come across agents in the past who have not let me add additional bags mid sector on one through ticket....the most recent one being ai & ua in lhr....

Shouldn't be any issue. Have done this before.
