Damn. How did you manage 2 seats? I've been looking (frankly only a month or two out) but am just facing "Sold Out" or "1 seat available". Teach me your kungfu, master

Domestic Jet Biz Award Availability

I'm looking for a DEL-MAA J availability in Sep/Oct. Even though the there are 4-5 flights, there no single seat available for 2 months window.

Is it possible that all awards are booked or Jet is holding Domestic J as well?

AFAIK, business seat availability has always been a problem in Jet.. They usually hold it till the last date and unless folks are persistent in following up , this may not get converted.. But do try and get the tickets on W/L..

They simply don't release seats till a few days out. Wait list is also a waste of time. 4 weeks back I waitlisted a MAA-DEL flight. When I checked a day before online a redemption seat was open and I could book it but my wait list was still not confirmed.

When I spoke with a agent he advised me that it was still on wait list. I had to ask him to check for redemption seats which were indeed open.

So I am really not sure how their wait list's work. They must be manually monitored?

People don't believe Keyser. This is just an old wives tale. You can't really get a Jet premium redemption seat anymore.

not only did they have a first seat available but they had it on the day i wanted....

of course there was no availability on their website so i just called in to take a chance....i asked what their award inventory was like on other days & there was nothing available in business or first 3-4 days before or after my preferred travel date....

it was my birthday last week so its almost as if jet gave me a gift....the ability to use my miles for the day & sector i want....

Interesting..... So on jetairways.com there was no availability for the same flight?

What does that mean? Can they open more seats for Plats?

i've noticed this a couple of times before as well....if there is no availability on their website then you should just call in....i don't think they open more seats for plats but they just have availability that they don't put online....if i remember correctly, this is the 3rd time i've managed to get a seat by calling when none were showing online....
