New United Dining promo
Just got an email from the united dining team. "Dine 10 times before August 15, 2014 to earn your special bonus - a mega 5,000 bonus miles."

I know where my new happy hour spot will be for the next month. ^

EDIT: it does require $40 spend each, doesn't say this until you click the register link, my mistake.

hmmm.. i got a better offer, but i dont plan on spending $400 in the next month eating.

Heh, I'd take my offer any day. If I close out after every beer I could kill this promo in one night

I got pretty excited to see two offers, 10,000 miles from United for 10 dines, and a separate 5,000 miles from AAdvantage for 10 dines...then I read the small print of $40 minimum spend per dine.

I live in a rural area, and can't see me making either of these.

I received 10 dines for 10,000 miles offer. Just curious if anyone knows from past experience if you have to complete all of these dines or could I dine once and get a 1000 bonus?

10k for Hilton

I got 10k for AA. Only four restaurants around here that participate, will have to review travel plans to see if I can accomplish this.

The amoung you get is targeted. There are at least 3 levels: 2500, 5000, and 10000. But they all have $40 spend (per dine) requirement. Of course, you could buy gift cards / gift certificates (if your local restaurants offer those) at the restaurant to satisfy that. More in the offical thread for all Rewards Network dining promos:

i wonder if it has to do with the level of membership....or maybe how frequently you have dined at a participating restaurant...

i'm vip for united & aa...but only got the 5k on aa...nothing on united...

also got 10k for hilton..but that doesn't mean much..i would expect more then 10k pts
