But yay, I can now transfer Avios between Iberia and BA. Thanks Hailo.
Did you use Fake GPS, or did you figure out some other way to add your IB number? Thanks.

Quick question - I am travelling to Barcelona later this week - if I open Hailo app on my iphone whilst I am away and enter an IB+ number then am I right in thinking that the avios will be credited, thereby activating my IB+ account???

It should. Also, if you need a cab, you can actually use the app to get more avios.

Am trying to create an account.
Fake gps is fine but Hailo wants a Spanish mobile phone no to send an sms to for a verification code.
How have others done this?

Got my 1000 Avios today. This was using a UK mobile phone which had not previously been used for Hailo in the UK and a fake GPS.

My 1000 points also posted today - very quickly considering I simply opened the Hailo app on my iPhone whilst in Barcelona last Thursday, entered my IB+ number and my UK mobile (with the +44 prefix) for the verification text. Didn't have to enter credit card number or actually book. Now I have an active account!!!

How long do these points take to post? Also, does the app need to remain active? Upon signing up and entering my IB# successfuly, I simply deleted the app.

They post once a month IME. Should work without the app, not sure. I haven't opened it at all after I registered the number and the points posted.
