Can you not go through the BA site if that is where you are transferring to as it is much easier.

I wish I could. I was never able to fix the issue with BA/IB conversion. I'm transferring avios from BA to IB, and every time I tried it using BA site, I would get error message "Sorry, your log-in details have not been recognised. Please contact us..." Same this for transfering to avio.com from BA site or from avios.com. However, the same tool on IB site worked great for me! Instant transfer from BA. Unfortunately, I cannot find a ling ot ib site now.

That was rather well hidden! Thank you.

It beggars belief how these websites are designed sometimes...

If only they would fix the part where Spanish people can't combine their Avios online because the surnames won't match between IB+ (which insists on the two surnames common to Spaniards) and BAEC...

Yes... and the other day I tried to do it on the phone (calling Iberia) and they told me they could only transfer points from BA, but not to BA (not true, because they had done it one week before, but rather than arguing I just called BA to do it).

I'm still stuck: afer hours on phone with BA and Iberia...
I can get BA Avios to Avios Website but not onward to IBeria, even with 2500 miles I just purchased to Iberia to activate and far more than 90 days, I still get the "Sorry, your log-in details have not been recognized. Please contact us"

Check the way your name is written in Iberia as often they transpose the surname which has been a known problem. Presumably you can log on directly to the IB site?

Or password is not numeric? In any case, log in Iberia plus and try from there.

Let me try to understand this ...

To combine points TO my Iberia account , I sign on Iberia.com to do this.

To combine points FROM my Iberia account TO my BA account, you sign on BA.com?

No, you can push or pull the transfer in either dirction from either end.

If you hit a problem, the work around is sometimes to try from the other end.

So I can also PULL BA AVIOS TO IBERIA?

Do addresses / emails have to be the same for it to work?

And can I PUSH IBERIA PLUS back to BA if needed?
