Hyatt hotels banning on-demand porn movies in hotel rooms
Hyatt Hotels will no longer offer on-demand pornographic movies in its rooms, the company said Wednesday.
"This content will not be introduced to any new Hyatt hotels, and it will be discontinued or phased out at all hotels," the company said in a statement.
Hyatt is just the latest hotel company to ban on-demand adult entertainment from its rooms.

They only do that because no one is using those services these days anyways. You can cut something that is no longer producing revenue but needs updating and support and do a big press release and make a big fuss out of it. It's not worthwhile and makes them look good. Now if they'd get rid of the systems and just put an Apple TV in every room.

Has anyone else noticed that when one major hotel company makes a move, others seem to follow? Marriott starts a 24 hour cancellation, then Hilton follows. Hilton stops slinging porno, then Hyatt follows.
Don't get me wrong. I applaud the decision. Just making an observation of how the hotel industry seems to work.

"The National Center on Sexual Exploitation in Washington applauded the change. "With this step, Hyatt is proving itself to be a leader among corporations that value a positive and safe environment for their consumers," the organization's president, Patrick Trueman, said in a statement."
I have no words for this.... they're probably unaware of all the seedy things that go on in hotel rooms.

"I admire porn," he told Vice magazine this week. "I admire porn actors. Frustration is the mother of crime, and so there would be much more crime without prostitutes and porn movies...[but] I personally only like high-class escorts. I don't like sleeping with people I really love. I don't want to sleep with them because sex cannot last, but affection can last forever. I think this is healthy. And for the way the rich live, this is possible. But the other world, I think they need porn."

Hyatt is not banning porn movies in hotel rooms. On-demand porn is readily available on the internet provided by Hyatt, Marriott and other hotel chains. What this elimination of the hotels charging for porn may do is increase the chances of people willing to pay for the remaining kind of movies in the room without being seen by the hotel as a porn-consumer.
