This property has become my "home away from home" and I can't rave enough about the service, location and most of the rooms. I've stayed here 40-45 nights over the last 12 months and used a few DSUs when the family joins me.

The normal DSU gets you the VIP suite, which as of 6 months ago, still did not have a desk as someone noted above. The first time there was an issue with my reservation and I ended up in a hospitality Suite which was nice. I have also ended up in the Presidential suite twice, which seems to be over 1500 square feet and has a killer bathroom and living room. If it had a stove/oven, you could easily move it and never leave.

There is not a club, but the breakfast in the restaurant is much better than a club breakfast would be. Servers always remember me and ask if my son is stopping by soon. He just turned a year old and has been there 5-6 times and always gets attention.

If you are going to Cleveland, this location can not be beat. The architecture of the building is among the best hotels anywhere. You go out the main entrance and you are less then a half mile to Browns stadium and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Sneak out the back door and you are 3 minutes from Quicken Loans Arena and Jacobs Field. (I am a native Clevelander, it will always be the Jake) 4th Street is right there and the casino is a quick walk.

Great Service, Great location and our home away from home.

I admit to being a Cavs fan. And yes, with decades of sports disappointment, hope for the best for Cleveland.

Was upgraded to an Aracade King on the 4th floor. Room was spacious, and came with separate sitting area with a proper desk. Carpet around the bath was a bit stained, as water from the shower apparently is tracked outward.

Breakfast in restaurant had fantastic service. Waitress was "Denisha" who went above and beyond but all staff were great, and constantly checked in.

Kudos to the manager, Todd Costin, who I saw near the elevators one day. This property has upped its game over the past year and ready for the Convention later this year.

Enjoyed the new coffee shop near the entrance on the first floor. Not part of the hotel per se but a definite positive with high quality barista. Just a plain coffee drinker myself but the folks in line were raving.

Gym open 24/7 and in fine condition.

Will be back soon.

Looking to walk from Tower City station, can you enter the property from the rear at Euclid or do I need to walk around the block to Superior as Google Maps is telling me?

During the day you can enter from Euclid, but at night you need a room key to open the doors at that entrance.

Thanks, I plan to get there around 10am, so shouldn't be a problem.

Any recommendations for less expensive parking alternatives?

Thanks. I'm surprised. I'm having trouble discerning any rhyme or reason to what properties get built with clubs and which ones don't. Obviously, I understand that the lower tier, free breakfast places don't, and that the Parks tend to just have the fancy restaurant, but it seems that most Grands and Regencies do have them, except for the ones that don't. Is there any useful pattern to go by as a starting point?

I'm just the opposite. I actively seek out hotels with no club because I prefer a full breakfast instead of the basic continental offerings at some clubs. To answer your question, I am yet to find any pattern when searching. I usually go to the hotel's website and check out the hotel info page. It tells you if a lounge is available.

I would have (and did have) the same analysis as a Diamond/Globalist, but I'm a lowly Explorist now, so no free breakfast in the restaurant for me. I do have club access upgrades, so having a club is valuable for me. It's a not a deal breaker for me, and I'll be staying at the Cleveland property anyway -- I really just wondered if I needed to call apply the club cert. (And now I know I need to double check, bc Hyatt let me apply a cert to Tysons Corner property even though the lounge is closed on weekends.)

I found them quiet generous. I think they will give you the best suite that is available. However, the higher level suites are not updated. Since they frequently have events, a suite with a living area in the front provides noise protection. We were initially placed in a presidential suite that was not updated and was moved to the best updated suite they had available.

I was upgraded to a suite in the atrium, but I declined the upgrade due to a wedding that might have been too noisy.

Just stayed at this hotel for the first time last week...loved it! It's a little different, being in a converted old post office building, but has a lot of charm. The staff was without exception friendly and helpful.

I was upgraded to a suite on the 2d floor, which was very nice. No complaints about the room. The wifi worked very well.

I ordered dinner from room service, and it was excellent and not at all pricey by room service standards. I had breakfast in the restaurant. I was a little surprised at the absence of a buffet, but ordered from the menu and it was great.

The hotel is centrally located to anything you'd want to go to downtown. There is a good selection of restaurants in the neighborhood.

The only problem I had with the hotel, and it's a tiny one, is they charge for using the computer and the printer in the business center; and the printer was out of order when I there, which I realized only after incurring a charge. Annoying. But didn't dampen my enthusiasm for this place!
