That is actually my biggest beef about Hyatt Gold Passport, award stays don't count toward qualification like it does over at HHonors.

Yes, agree... difficult living in Switzerland. My 1.3 Mio lifetime points are accumulated over the past roughly 30 years of loyalty to Hyatt....
and what I am mostly envious is that we do not have the Hyatt Credit Card to use and ramp up points....

When I first saw the thread title, I thought that goldpoints were some new rating system to evaluate Hyatt customers, sort of like AA eagles (?), BA CIM (?) scores, etc.
In searching this thread, your reference to 'Goldpoints' is the first time that this is mentioned. The thread is titled with Gold Passport points so not sure where you got Goldpoints out of this?

But, while we are on that subject, i have 440K Goldpoints from Club Carlson, a few years ago they were handing them out like candy

The first reference to 'Goldpoints' was in your original thread title before it was changed.

I just used 125,000 at the Hyatt Churchill 3 weeks ago, great trip and I already want to go back. There's a great thread on the Churchill in this forum, very nice property and they 'get it' when it comes to taking care of guests.

I try to use P+C and a DSU at the Churchill. I really like staying there!

Work points go to my employers, so that limits my earning. My Current points available, 1,303,141.

Somehow, most of my unused points end up with Starwood and Hilton. Okay, given a choice, I choose Hyatt, so those points get used.

You have to sacrifice work stay points back to your employer, ouch, that's harsh.

439K. Lately I've switched Diamond amenities from points to wine, which helps me forget that I have too many points.
