On Diamond trial with a couple of stays (domestic and international) already booked but no luck for me - no emails and none of the links work. Also wasn't able to take advantage of 40% bonus for buying points but that could be because I started my trial after that offer came out.
Anyhow, as a relative newbie in Hyatt-land, I am surprised by these rather ordinary promos being targeted. Not sure why they'd not want us to spend more nights in their properties. As things stand right now, I have no incentive to go above my trial requirements.

Agreed... people are just wildly speculating. I don't have the card and had 20-25 stays booked through the period.

I called Gold Passport this afternoon and the phone rep registered me for the 50k promotion (even though I wasn't targeted) - took less than 2 minutes.

If you can meet the 20 nights requirement, I suggest you give them a call. I just called the diamond line and the rep manually registered me for the 20 nights/50k promotion. It sounds like there are seven different targeted fall promotions going on but a rep can only manually register you for the 20nights/50k offer and not the other offers.
This is odd though. I mean if reps can manually register diamond members (not sure about those with other status/no status) then why not offer it in the first place? Unless Hyatt changed its mind due to the brouhaha over the fall promotion?

I don't think the number of upcoming reservations was factor. I have over 70 and was not targeted. However, upon calling today I was immediately registered.

Also diamond. Not eligible per link. Just called, the kindly lady put me on hold and had a supervisor add me to the 50K. Nice! Edit to add -- this will in fact drive business, at least 5 more nights than I would have otherwise done.

5k per night up to 50k? Are you sure that's the promo? That would mean 50k after only 10 nights. Or do you mean the 5/10/15/20k after 5/10/15/20 nights?
