Heading to Vegas March 24-28, have Planet Hollywood from Friday-Monday, but need a place for Thursday. I know there's a big conference in town that has the rates jacked up pretty high on that Thursday night (thus why I only booked F-M at PH). Anyone got any tips on getting something reasonable on Thursday night?

Not sure if it's a conference or the NCAA tournament crowd gathering in Vegas. I'll be there and my room at Hard Rock is about twice the rate now compared to when I booked it a few months ago. Smart bet is to book something quickly because I don't see prices going down as supply gets thinner.

At this point in the game it's probably more the NCAA Tourney crowd that's filling the rooms, but the conference is what has the rates jacked up during the week. The rates still plummet after Thursday at most places.

What does the "*$50 Daily Credit will not accumulate" in the T&Cs mean? As in you must use the $50 each day versus a sum total of your credits applied at the end of the stay?

Correct, any of the $50 left at the end of each day will disappear.

Rio 50% off suite sale back on...

...but couldn't find a date less expensive than $124/night -and rates don't appear without searching every night individually - see my post #489 someone with more time may find a better deal.

server is really slow, but here's an updated link

Happy hunting!

MB 72 hour sale has room rates from $49 - a total steal at that price.

Also, MGM Grand is running a promo until March 24, 2011 that is valid until the end of the year. Use promo code "goallin" and stay minimum 2 nights to get -

- Rate of $85/nt per room
- 2 all you can eat buffet passes (per stay)
- all you can drink at the west wing bar

Upgrade to a bungalow suite for just $10 more.

Resort fees not included - but a pretty nice deal with lots of availability.

How do you get to the $49 MB offer?

When I click on "Eagleye290's" link, I just get a "code expired" message.
