Smile [EXPIRED] Expedia: $100-$200 Off, No Minimum Spend (3-5 Minimum Night Stay)

Not sure why this isn't getting more attention, pretty good deal for cheap stays.
  • Save $100 on any stay of three nights or longer using coupon code: DISCVR105
  • Save $150 on any stay of four nights or longer using coupon code: DISCVR151
  • Save $200 on any stay of five nights or longer using coupon code: DISCVR201

Some restrictions: but it's mostly ibis, novotel, mercure & sofitel hotels that are excluded from using this.

Full terms can be found here: https://www.expedia.com/p/info-terms...geid=19131&AID

Coupon valid until March 15th or until stocks run out
Stay must be completed before August 31st.

Sorry, but that is not clearly worded to me.

" it's mostly ibis, novotel, mercure & sofitel hotels" that are EXCLUDED.

It's been popular on the regular thread for a while:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hotel...elzoo-etc.html

It also is frustratingly difficult to use this as you can't enter the code until the very last page of booking, at which point it tells you the hotel you've chosen isn't participating.

Hope somebody finds some good deals; I got tired of wasting my time searching.

Ah ok, I've subscribed to that thread - I usually just gloss over it. I didn't find it that bad to be honest, I tried three different hotels and all were eligible. I imagine if you're going for chain stays you'll have less luck.

Fixed it now.

I think if you use the expedia.com site it'll probably work, but you'd be charged in USD so hit with a fee. I can't check it since I only have US cards, sorry! Terms say it's US only, not sure if they are enforced.

Glad it's helping some of you.

Thanks OP, sweet deal, however my checkout did not go as planned. Showed room for 2 persons as $40 per night for 3 nights, applied the code making a total of $20 for 3 nights. Very nice price.

Then I got charged $168, not only did the coupon not apply but I also got charged $48 extra guest fee

I wrote to Expedia, hopefully they can fix it

Could you elaborate how you noticed the extra charges? Like did this show up on the confirmation page on Expedia? Or you checked your CC for pending charges and noticed there?

My CC charged the correct pending charge for my bookings for a data point, no adjustments expected. All went smoothly

The confirmation page on Expedia said I had been charged $168 and I simultaneously got a text message from my bank saying the same.

The confirmation email had the full breakdown

How does that square with the T&C that state " Limit one (1) coupon per user account and per qualifying Expedia Special Rate hotel booking." ?

Did you use different Expedia accounts? Am I misreading the T&C's by thinking that each account can only use this offer once?

Thanks

I was able to use DISCVR105 and DISCVR151 once each under the same account.
