PVR hotel $6 mistake rate
So HRS is selling rooms at the Emperador for $6 per night (double room, 1 person). I made a reservation for 7 nights (end of January), $42 all in. What do you think the chances are that it will be honored, and should I have a back up plan? It says pay at hotel, not prepay.

I just got an email from HRS, cancelling my reservation. Oh well. Win some, lose some. I found this paragraph interesting though...
"We would like to inform you that the hotel is liable to reimburse you for any costs that have been caused by your reliance on the existing booking pursuant to § 122 of the German Civil Code."

I just now received my "So sorry & counter offer email"
Funny thing is I totally forgot I had booked this hotel.
For those of you who were notified earlier has anyone tried to fight or otherwise renegotiate a new rate?

I have not. I keep getting emails telling me it has been cancelled, yet I can still look it up on their reservation system, and it shows active. I even changed it a couple of days ago. I have booked a different hotel, but plan on stopping in to see if it is honored when I get there in late January.
