Gay life in Panama City, Panama
I am new here in Panama City, Panama, and live near the downtown. Is there any gay bars or clubs nearby? I searched but found almost all the info is out of date on the website. And also I heard that there is a gay sotre, whats the exact location? Is anybody very fimilar with all these life? any suggestion?

anyone have any *negative* experiences in Bocas del Toro?
Sig Other + friends & I are looking at renting a house for a week... wasn't sure how "careful" we need to be. (we do fine in Belize, St. John, Abacos, Long Island - bahamas not NY!)...

I'm not sure what you base that on, given that numerous travelers gay and straight say otherwise, there are multiple gay bars, and the City has experienced a huge boom in the past decade. Also, Cuba is a really silly place to compare it to, as it's a pretty fun country. And neither country is particularly hostile to gays in the range of things. So, thanks?

Hi all, I'm heading to Panama City for the first time later this month and would like to know if anyone has more recent info about the city. I'm not really looking for clubs, more bars/restaurants, kind of quieter places. Thanks!
