I'm also willing to pay 100% upfront. Do we just call the general store?

The color we're looking for is almost impossible to find locally.
It is very hard to order them now. Unless you know someone who works for them, put your name on the waiting list just for orders.

That's what we did. We bought a hermes jypsiere 34 locally and was than put on the waiting list. However I would never spend 100k annually in bags for them to value me.

Does anyone on FT have any contacts of the Hermes over at Paris?

Everytime my local store calls me about anything coming in, is the last ones that no body wants. (40s in the colors no one wants)

Trying to find a yellow one @ 35 is almost impossible!!!!

Sorry can't help you, I don't buy their bags, hate spending all this money only to see every man and his dog carrying a similar one. I prefer to spend my money on Bottega bags. Love their workmanship, style and how lovely the leather gets when it ages.

Hermes, I only buy their clothes and shawls.

I see.

How about the sale is that still true with Hermes or they stopped doing that?

They still have their sales, though I've never been to one.

As dodo mentioned, it is at the Palais des Congres.

If you are hoping Hermes will change their business model, that is rather doubtful given today's news on record profits.

I saw a store in front the of the Bristol Hotel that sells them, not sure if they have your color, you can use google maps to see the store.

There is a second hand place at the Palais Royal that sells them, not sure if they have your color. Am going to be there next week, I can ask if I don't forget. But I can't guarantee their authenticity.

Bristol Hotel Paris.

That you have to get the covenant before you purchase, am sure you can compare it to the one that you have.

Once I bought a highly prized back from a well known brand, it had some trinkets that had their initials, I asked them to cut them off, they wouldn't, their reasoning, it wouldn't be authentic, I took the scissor and cut it off. I don't advertise for brands that I buy, if they want me to advertise then they should give it to me, just like they do to actors and singers. Told them that while I cut off their initials.
