CDG RER station to 2G - via 2E?

I'm flying out of CDG 2G for the first time, and arriving at the airport via RER. I vaguely recall reading that the quickest way to 2G is not to follow the signs in the RER station, but rather to catch the bus from 2E. However, I can't find where I read that. Is that correct?

In the middle right hand side it says transfers and then lets you choose from where to where
these are the instruction they give from 2E to 2G

Go to exit 4 on the pedestrian footbridge.

Take the free Aéroports de Paris shuttle to Terminal 2G.
- Frequency: every 6 minutes from 5:30 AM to 11:00 PM, every 20mn from 11:00 PM to 5:30 AM
- Free service

Yes, quickest way is getting the bus at 2e, however if you have heavy bags it might not be convenient. The bus goes from rer station to 2d, 2c and then 2e.

Perfect - thanks. I will have a small weekend bag, so walking from the RER to 2E will be no problem.
