Paris and Nice with kids - suggestions, please

Hello everyone. I would appreciate any suggestions of fun, active, and cultural things to do for 3 families with kids (3 kids total, ages 6-8) in the last week of December. Thank you in advance.

Assuming that you have a car, Eze and drive along the corniches. Point out that this is where the car race is held as well as being the site for famous movie scenes.

The palace in Monaco. You can get there by train too. The casino in Monte Carlo if the kids can get in.

Maybe a day trip to Grasse to see how perfume is made.

The Palace in Monaco is closed to visitors in December although you can stand outside and look at it obviously! The aquarium (at the Oceanographic institute) a short walk away is popular with families.

The minimum age limit for casino entrance is 18 years old. As it should be

Check if the glass factory in Biot is reopen because it's very interesting for kids (and adults too). I say reopen because it has been heavily damaged by the black storm the town suffered in october.

Unfortunately, the Marineland park (equivalent of Sea World in San Diego) is also closed until end january at least for the same reasons. Usually, I think they were open during the Christmas holidays.

Paris and Nice with kids - suggestions, please

I took my 11yo niece to Paris and we had a fun treasure hunt at the louvre with THATLou, did a behind the scenes at a boulangerie to see how baguettes and croissants are made as well as at a patisserie to see chocolate and macarons. I have posts on my blog, philatravelgirl

As for Eze, it's a charming place but was essentially closed during my November visit (just tour groups in the empty village) so not sure I'd go there.

Here is something kids will absolutely love (adults to too - mesmerizing!). In Paris, the Natural History Museum, Gallery of Evolution. https://www.mnhn.fr/fr

There's a seriously good science museum in northeastern Paris. IIRC it has a submarine (outside of the building) too.
