AirBerlin booking in Finnair MMB!

I made on AB.com, with solely AB metal and AB marketing codes. It turns out that it shows up AY.com MMB list just because I input my AY+ number. Well I can't complain, but I find that a bit surprising.

(However I cannot seem to change seats, on either AB or AY sites. Must be an AB problem. Sigh.)

I guess it shows all Amadeus and exported-to-Amadeus Oneworld bookings only.

AY usually shows any reservations that have AY+ number attached, regardless of marketing or operating carrier.
AB seat selection is a well known PITA, calling or qantas.com is my remedy.

Further to the above. AY MMB will show any armadas booking regardless if the booking has an AY+ .
I just looked up a QF domestic flight ( SYD-BNE-SYD) that I have later in this year, and I have never been a member of AY+

It is well known that the AY MMB has the ability to display other airlines bookings as it is possible to change the FF numbers on the AY site. I.E. Book qantas but later use the AY site to credit to another FF program.

OW partners usually authorize each other to view reservations. The background is that on RTW bookings each partner can reissue itineraries.

JL is about managable, if you can get hold of the Amadeus number or at least on their own site, whereas MH is plainly not managable, period
