Is there a current seating/aircraft guide?
Hi Finnair people, I'm looking for some seating advice and most of the threads I've turned up are either many years old or vague about the seats/aircraft.
I'm thinking of flying BCN-HEL-BKK return, the AY website says I'm on an A333, but it isn't clear what seats this aircraft will have. As I understand I could get either an ex-AF plane with those awful WedgieBeds, an AY-specific WedgieBed, or maybe a new full-flat.
Can anyone give me some guidance?
Thanks.

All Finnair A330 are now refitted with new full flat seats.
The ex-AF planes you are referring to are A340

... and there are 2 versions of the A330, but they are very similar. Some of them have row 8-10, others don't.

Is the space for your feet larger on the L side than A or is there extra legroom? I am nearly 6' so would the L be better?
I expect that I will sleep a bit on both flights, so will think about changing seats.

I would select L if I want to sleep (which I usually do). A seats are good if you want extra table/floor space. I am 186cm and L seats are just long enough for me. A seats are a bit too narrow to be comfortable.

Oh decisions, decisions!
I had not realised that the A seats are narrower than other seats.
Have selected 2A so far but have some time to reconsider.
Thanks again.

I don't think the seat itself is more narrow, but legs goes into a "tube".
The table arrangement makes many many feel this is the most private seat since nothing is close to you.
All seats has similar arrangement but only A seats have the "tube". All other have this opening.

Many thanks intuition!
The photos are very helpful and I now understand the potential issue of the confined food space, which is guess is in between the seats in front.
