Cathay Pacific First Lounge for AY+ Platinum+GOLD passengers (LHR)

Was looking at which lounge is a Finnair lounge at LHR T3, I saw CX J+F lounges, entry criteria for First lounge said to be Plat+Gold, which seems odd for an F lounge. Is this indeed the case or jut a misprint?

There's the lounge list

It is true. I (AY Gold) used CX F lounge last February when traveling from Miami to Helsinki via LHR.

AY has had these special arragements before as well..the old non-Schengen lounge at HEL was good example...they seem to want to separate AY Silver (Ruby) from Gold (Sapphire) in terms of lounge access sometimes..makes sense as I think AY Silver is the only Ruby card giving any lounge access in the whole OW (atleast with the major carriers, don't know the details of the smaller new airlines)..the price difference AY pays at LHR T3 CX lounges is most likely very small and I think the majority of AY status pax use the superior BA lounges anyway..

Yep I saw the same in their access policy A4 yesterday.
Nothing to write home about though, BA First beats it hands down.
Only difference was Veuve on the bar, and the view was a bit better, and there were 3 people.

Yeah, the one time I was there (in the morning) there were max 5 people. View was nice, selection of drinks not the best.

I think the only difference in drinks selection is Veuve.
If I had OW Sapphire, I would spend my time in Galleries Club.

Well, you need to try everything, including CX LHR3 F Lounge, once.

CX Silvers (Ruby) also get lounge access when flying on CX metal.

Unfortunately I didn't take much pictures. I'll try to do a comprehensive report later.

But you can do this only at BA Galleries First:

(I know, I'm sorry...)
