Very glad to have lots of new folks aboard for this round. And austin_res, you're very likely to clear the waitlist for the UA event, so stop posting despair everywhere. We're going to clear the waitlist for Hula Hut in the next day or two (after I finish writing the page that lets you add an event to an existing registration).

Just grabbed the last spot for Hecklevision, I think, and am waitlisted for the UA event. Now just trying to decide if I'm going to be efficient and fly WN or make ten stops and stick with UA.

I bought my first southwest ticket in nearly a decade for the DO. I did book UA on the way over. I just hope the 4 hour flight EWR-AUS dosnt get any smaller than the EMB170 it currently is

It's pretty rare for AUS to get anything smaller than an E170 out of EWR. On ocassion we even get a 739. It's like we have a real airport or something.

But your name implies we should only care who you are, not the other way around!

On the left side of the website (https://www.ausmegado.com) there's a Who's Coming section below the Twitter display. You can click on that to show the handle of everyone who has registered so far. :-:

Sweet, time to check some corporate rates (and find parking elsewhere as I can only imagine what their valet rate will be).

$30 self park, $35 valet. I don't think the corporate rates are loaded yet.
