While the information did come from inside JetBlue - it was an internal email I had access to - it was not a sanctioned release. I had to explain to the CorpComm folks that I had a copy of the internal message with the details so she could stop dancing around the issues.
They were not (or at least didn't appear to be) upset that the information leaked. They knew it was going to happen. But it was not the official announcement the way they planned it to occur.
And, because I've written a bunch more on the home page since the initial release, here's the direct link to the story about the new fresh food meals on JetBlue.
I also got the scoop on JetBlue's new sliding door suites; I was the first to publish on that one.
