The new Eurostar lounge in Paris opens on Saturday 4th February.

We had a sneak peak at the private view today.

There will be a full review on Monday when we have edited the pictures but I will try to post a few here too. It is very impressive - probably the smartest railway lounge in the world.

None of the seating looks very comfortable to me. Why no arms?

While it looks stylish it doesn't at first glance look any more functional than BA GC. And I'm no defender of BA.

I stopped using Euro* when they severely downgraded their middle tier class of travel. No more champagne, no more hot food, no more spirits.. oh and did the fares get any cheaper??? Yeah, right !

Leisure Select (I think that's what it was called) was a nice product. I only made a few trips on it but they were always generous with the drinks.
