Plenty of bathrooms in BUD airport?

Forgive the stupid question. Saw something from official Budapest airport website suggesting bathrooms are outside but map shows a few in the terminal, just not very many. Will I find plenty of bathrooms near the departure gates?

Reminds me of Ivor Cutler's reminiscences of "Life In A Scotch Sitting Room"

"Voiding the bowels in those days was unheard of. People just kept it in."

Hahaha. I said it was stupid. I was just thrown off by the airport website that is insistent you use a particular bathroom. As if there are no other bathrooms, lol.

We live in Budapest and use the airport often.

There has been some renovation taking place lately and one of the two bathroom locations on the Schengen 2A side was closed. This may have been what the airport website was referring to.

Fortunately, work is done and all bathrooms open!

An added bonus is the Platinum Lounge we use outside gate 12A now has its own restroom

There are also some trees outside. This might be your plan B option.

I'm a big shot blogger. I need to review each one.

If you really must know, I sometimes need to use the restroom more often than other people. It's nice to know if there are restrooms, and where they are.

Sounds like diabetes, or possibly a prostate hypertrophy/tumour. Should be easy to verify!

Thanks, but I don't need any medical advice. I'm good.

Great to hear! Then keep your beer consumption a bit lower. That helps, especially with bad internet connections that may be slow in showing you where the toilets are!

I'm sure that's true of all of us, so does that mean that an airport only needs one bathroom? YMMV, but personally I find it it better if there's one within reasonable walking distance and without a huge line; thus, more is better.
