AUH Style/haircut service quality?

I will have a transit through AUH soon and was wondering if anyone can comment on the quality of haircut at AUH premium lounge?

It's really a touchup. You may also receive a straight razor to your sideburns/facial hair.

The stylists aren't allowed to give extreme haircuts, as I asked for a faux-hawk because I was curious. The cuts must be in keeping with the decorum of the F cabin.

That being said, I enjoyed my visit. Saved me a trip to my own barber for a few weeks at least.

A faux hawk is not in the decorum of the F cabin? That's quite possibly one of the least "edgiest" haircuts out there today. What is keeping with the decorum of the F cabin then???

It is just a trim, however I found it to be of very good quality.

I've had more than a trim whilst there and had a proper haircut. I didn't find the person doing it particularly friendly, but was happy with the end result. I felt Virgin's Heathrow lounge offered a better overall experience, with more friendly staff and more time given, even though it's only a business lounge.

The cut will look good to you, and terribly cheap to your wife.

Go for the straight razor shave, but even that wasnt as good as I've gotten from random barber shops in the region.

Tell them what you want and they'll do it. The team is quite proficient at cutting hair and technical aspects to achieve a certain look. They got further training on top of their years of experience, but leaving it to them to choose the style may not be the smartest thing to do.

I was told that they would just trim along the lines of my existing haircut.
However, afterwards they shampooed my hair and added styling gel.

It was a wonderful service that I was able to take advantage of both ways.
