SEZ and Doha Exemption on AA rewards

SEZ and Doha Exemption on AA rewards
I understand that routing through DOH is fine for Africa flights, but I'm wondering if anyone has had success with North America > AUH > SEZ as one leg?

Redeeming AA miles on EY, NA-SEZ will require two awards.
