Need help from a PVG specialist
Next week I will arrive at Shanghai PVG in Terminal 1 (an international flight from Busan) and have to connect to EK 303 leaving from Terminal 2.
Is there any PVG specialist who can tell me if I have to go through Immigration at Terminal 1, shuttle to Terminal 2 and go through Immigration again? Or is there a possibility to transfer between Terminals airside without this double hassle?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I'm not a PVG expert but did you try googling? A quick search shows lots of (slightly outdated) information indicating you do need to clear immigration even for some T1-to-T1 connections, so T1-to-T2 would very likely require this. However China does have a TWOV policy for many countries:

AFAIK you do go through immigration and then walk to the other terminal. You'll probably need to retrieve any checked bags and check them again in the other terminal.
