The two-class superjumbo’s could also “possibly” fly on services to London Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham in the United Kingdom, Clark told reporters at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) annual meet.

That sounds do-able with a reduced galley size there. I presume the other two are the ones at 80A and K which I wasn't counting?

One of the benefits for me of the A380 has been the knowledge that, compared with the 777-300ER [which has two- and three-class versions], I did not need to be concerned about the possibility of an involuntary downgrade from F. If Emirates' intention is to substitute a two-class aircraft and force passengers already booked in F to reschedule or downgrade to J this would, in my view, not be a welcome development.
I would be very interested to know if anyone is involuntarily downgraded from F because one of these two-class A380s has been substituted on an ad hoc basis, presumably because of high demand in Y on that day. I hope their use will be restricted to planned routes, but my experience of being told that my 777 will not now have a first class cabin and that I will have to choose another flight, or if I wished to travel on the flight booked it would have to be in J, would seem to suggest that this may not be the case.
I think it is one thing to substitute a two-class aircraft when there are no passengers booked in F and quite another when there are.
