Currently A340 on Vietnam route, any chance for 777

Hey folks,

On checking Emirates.com the dubai to ho chi minh city flight is currently operated by an A340, does anyone have any insider info or thoughts on wether this might be upgraded to a 777 any time soon? Am sure Emirates must be fazing out the A340 fleet soon. Planning a trip next year so was hoping the A340 might be gone by then!
Cheers

My experience is that on certain routes Emirates alternate equipment flexibly depending on the amount of cargo to be taken. The difference between, for example 332 and 772, is only some 30 pax but around 10 tons of cargo (in favour of 777, of course)
