Emirates most devoted customer...

Someone sent me this link.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/tr...ggest-fan.html

I like Emirates, been flying with them since approx 2001; for the past 3 years, I've probably averaged 60 flights each year with them - but a tattoo

And I flew on my birthday last week (from Singapore), no cake for me
NB I wasn't expecting/looking for any recognition that it was my birthday

Tattoos and upgrades notwithstanding, I actually had a birthday cake SPML loaded/noted/pranked by a friend on my booking and manifest...but the crew ate the cake... At least I think they did because I certainly didn't get any, haha!

If he is flying on EK because he likes EK, the only thing it could hurt is the wallet if he is paying more for EK than another airline

This guy is an embarrassment. He's exactly what companies want - someone will be sitting in the EK marketing division laughing their head off. He's owned by a corporation. Rather looks like he may be spending all of his salary on EK which is equally sad.

Oh man, if AC promises to upgrade me every time I will get a maple leaf tattoo in no time. Who the hell wouldn't? That's a real lot of money just for getting a tattoo.

That's one ugly tattoo. Anyone who has a brand logo as a tattoo has no imagination and poor taste.

Those pics of him in F look remarkably like J ; P

I somehow doubt an English teacher is Emirates best customer. Someone who spends millions a year with them on the other hand...

I thought this was pretty harsh criticism based on an article about someone's flying habits.....

.....and then I read the article.

Yeah..... He kinda seems like a tool.....

You are not missing anything. The article is probably of about the same 'standard' than I would categorize that guy. Oh well, each to their own. BTW, clicking on that Youtube link will just get the guy more $$$ for ads shown to any of us while we are watching it so I refrain from it
