Both roughly and hour and a half transit in my book, but I'm sure you knew what I meant.

Bumping up this thread to see if anyone has an update on the BKK EK Lounge situation.
I'm due there tomorrow so will I be in a refurbished EK Lounge or are they still using QF Lounge?

Last update I had was looking at June for completion - they might do a staggered opening similar to LGW but doubtful.

Was on EK last week out of BKK and visited the QF lounge there. Suffice to say that the food and drink on offer was very disappointing compared to the old EK lounge. This was my first experience with QF, and from the looks of the lounge seating and F&B at the BKK lounge, I don't think I will be going out of my way to do a flight on QF.
Not sure if this is accurate and reliable, but the check-in agent told me that the newly renovated EK lounge would open in one month.

I was there this morning and would agree with your comments about the BKK QF Lounge. At least the beer was cold.
Next month is what I was told as well regarding the EK Lounge re-opening.

I'll be in BKK on 26 July so will report back if no-one has before....

Yup - all boarded up and lots of (paint?) fumes emanating.

Specifically 1st of July - but this EK and Thailand, so, shrug!

I've got a flight next week and was wondering if the lounge was re-opened yet? I heard an unconfirmed report that the re-opening had been pushed to sometime in August.
Anyone been through BKK lately?

As per post #66 in this thread, the BKK lounge seems to have reopened.

Yes, the new EK lounge at BKK has re-opened and it looks a lot better than the old one. Only had a brief look over the weekend; I was not flying EK on that day.
