Any ideas about travelling with minors? I have a trip to MAN in about a months time. They will be in Y, but we are a group travelling together. Hoping to get the car to take us all from and to the airport. (total of 3 passengers)
I think if you specifically mention they are not flying EK then they are of course going to say no. Just say you need a car for x number of passengers and I am sure they will be OK.

Strange I've had a mate travel with me to LHR from the city when I was traveling in J and he wasn't traveling at all! No information passed to car company before hand, just requested the driver at the pickup point and he was fine with it

From the airport its no problem, nobody asks. To the airport you will have to inform them due to capacity, 3 passengers with luggage, it might be a bit tight. They have those soccer mum Chrysler vans they can send

When they asked for my Ref the agent said the car was for one passenger (I had linked 2 ref's together) I mentioned that we are 2 people and they said since they are not on EK out of MAN they can't drive out.

Yes I think that from the airport it shouldn't be an issue. Again, I linked the Ref's and asked the local office to confirm the car is for 3, even though only 1passenger is eligible. They mentioned since they are minor's (14yr olds) then it is ok.

Yes.

He was was flying FRA > DXB > BKK > SYD. I was flying BKK > SYD. I'd already booked my flight months before. I specifically told him to book the same return flight via BKK so that we could share it.

We were 4 in F flying into MEL about two months ago - I specifically said 2 cars would be fine, but they somehow got that mixed up and we got only one. Fair enough they owned up to it and paid for the cab fare, so all ended well ^

I'm flying J in October and have put in a reservation for a car to Heathrow, but I will be arriving at Reading Railway station - Do you know if it's ok for them to pick me up from there? I've given my train arrival time and departure point in the booking.

As long as you have given them your arrival train info and time and contact info you should be okay.(give your mobile number as they usually call the day before to confirm the trip.)
I have had a chauffeur drive pick up from Kings cross to LGW last year .

Yep, pickup for train stations is fine I have done it many times form Kings X and Euston.

Although the amount of times I have ended up stuck in traffic and only just make my flight I do think I should just suffer the tube. Second thoughts, nope!
