They are also currently running 73Hs on the LAX-JFK runs. I think 2 or 3 flights a day.

Yes, flew a 73H on JFK-LAX on Dec 22; still prefer the 757 for general spaciousness (at least in F). In the low season (Jan/Feb), it looks like the bulk of the JFK-LAX flights will be operated by 73Hs.

True for DL since they decided to do AVOD and 144 Y seats at the same time as adding winglets - it's the addition of the winglets that makes it a 73H. Other airlines such as AS also operate 73H aircraft. 73H is an IATA designation.

I don't mind the spaciousness of the 737 in F but the ~24 seats of the 757 make it more likely that I will sit there.

Even into March Easter weekend the JFK-LAX is mostly 737-800s. Also, in Jan, a lot of JFK-SEA flights are on that aircraft type.
