Hi Guys,
No I'm not defecting from UA (yet...) but I do have questions reagrding my friends who are traveling on DL.
If they bought a ticket through a TA and have their DL PNR can they still check-in online without a SkyMiles number?

Yep, as long as they have the confirmation number (PNR).
