Double miles for charging income tax payment
I charged some income tax payments (through Official Payments) largely in order to qualify for the 50,000 matching miles bonus offer. But a sweetener was the promotion that charging income tax payments earned double miles, e.g., as if Uncle Sam was one big grocery supermarket. 
Anybody see those double miles post yet? I see the miles from my April SkyMiles C/C statement posted already, but not the bonus miles.

I'm not totally sure of this but I think the 2x was ONLY for Federal Tax. You could pay state taxes also, but no double miles. I didn't need to use it, so no firsthand knowledge...

Mine have not posted either (and I charged the taxes on March 15). I called Amex and was told that somebody would be getting back in touch with me, but it's been 3 weeks and it hasn't happened yet.

Thanks for the confirmation with your experience.
