Oh my gosh! Someone revived a 2+ year old thread just to complain about a post in it? You have got to be kidding me! What a waste of time.

LOCK PLEASE!

DAL Global Services employee benefits/discounts

I just recently got hired by DAL Global Services in JFK and I wanted to know if I'd get any type of discount such as hotels, car rentals, etc...So technically, we work for Delta Airlines, get Delta Airline flight benefits, but they don't give us the Delta Airline staff ID. So how do we have proof that we work for the airline and get discounts?

Talk to your employer about your benefits. Chances are they will have better information on how to exercise your travel privileges than many here, unless we have other DGSers lurking.

It's a staffing service for other airlines. Delta Airlines owns it...and they trained me to work at Lufthansa Cargo...

Is there any rule that specifices pass rider eligibility if you fall under a certain amount of working hours?

Question: I'm a united pass rider, can I also be a delta pass rider?

I'm a primary friend of a UA employee. I've recently been offered by another friend to be his companion on delta. Is this kosher? Any insights would be super valuable. While it'd be amazing to have both, I don't want to take any unnecessary risk.

Thanks everyone.

DL and UA are 2 different companies why would it not be allowed? Do your friends work for the same express company that has multiple airline benefits?

You can have 2 different banks. In Utah I think you can have 2 wives. I can't see this as a problem in any set up.

Seriously? Stop ...

And in answer to the question you quoted you can carry any benefits for any airline you want. The airlines generally frown upon employees working for two companies but I know people who work for Skywest who carry DL, UA, US, AA and AS benefits due to their positions within the company
