OK, actually, just for the remainder of the year. My next flight will be January 15th 2017, I will have just over a month at home.
Tally for 2016: 103.871 MQMs, plus 20.000 MQMs courtesy of the DL Plat Amex card, so just shy of Diamond (by design, I don't expect to fly as much next year but wanted to hit at least Platinum in 2017 so I maximized the rollover as best I could without going over, thus no last minute mileage run to get over the hump).
Besides all those miles and segments on DL, I had about 5100 EQMs on AA over five segments in September.
Not nearly as much as some of the road warriors here, but many of my friends and family think I'm nuts for flying so much.
Airports visited, in no particular order (including home base), obviously some of them multiple times:

I clicked on it to see what kind of whinge it would be, as the OP intended. I expected that the PDBs had been delayed, or some other life threatening emergency.

Because right now he'll have almost 50,000 rollover MQMs to maintain high status for 2018, since he isn't planning to travel a lot in 2017.
Going for 2017 DM means almost 0 rollover MQM for 2018, so the options are probably to have PM for 2017&18, or 2017 DM and 2018 FO-GM.

I am not done. I currently have 235 K mqm with some to be credited. I really want to be > 250K mqm so I already have the mqms for 2018 with some to rollover for 2019. It is addictive to me . I suppose that is the marketing genius behind FF programs

of course it is ... you have willingly offered your short hairs to DL, and they are very happy with your $15k MQD (although you've taken advantage of status matches this year to split your travel this year among DL/AA/UA, so I suspect it's more accurate to suggest that their partner AmEx is delighted by your $25k spend for the MQD waiver, and DL is of course not complaining about that either)

If I expected to do a ton of travel next year, I would have definitely booked an MR to get to DM.

At the end of next week, I will close out my travel for the year. I have decided to hold short with 567,000 MQMs so I don't hit quintuple Diamond before year-end.
