Why can't I search award from JFK to HNL?
Been trying every day for the past week to search for award ticket pricing from JFK to HNL. If I use flexible calendar (5 weeks) or flexible days, I keep getting:
Works fine with other routes/airports, or with money, instead of miles.
Is there some odd reason why you can't search JFK to HNL with award pricing unless you have a specific date?
We're sorry, there was a problem processing your calendar request. Please try again. If you continue to experience problems, try a flexible day search instead of a calendar search. #100903A

Option B: something's screwy with the website.
I'll bet 100 to 1 it's option B.

Weird. Tried 3 different computers, 3 different ISP's, 2 different web browsers. doesn't matter if I login to Delta or not.
I click round trip, Advanced Search
JFK -> HNL
I picked random dates (for example, 11/3/16-11/19/16)
Clicked Flexible Calendar (5 weeks)
clicked Delta One/First/Business
Select Delta and Partners
Click Miles and then Search.
Get the error after almost a minute of it "searching". I then change to flexible days like the error says. Then get the same error again.
Works fine for $.
Works fine if I change the origin airport to ALB or DEN.
Doesn't work for NYC origin airports. (LGA, or NYC, or JFK) But it works with EWR, ironically.
I guess maybe that's why people refer to it as delta.dumb?

Try doing the search from the home page - it should work, but show you the required mileage for coach fares. Then, try changing to First, and see what happens. That worked for me.

I didn't do the advanced search, just the one from the homepage pulldown. Doing it as you describe, I get the same error.
