MM acknowledgment was nice

I'm a recent MM on Delta. It did make me smile this weekend when one flight attendant mentioned having a MM on the flight during the welcome announcement. I'd hate individual attention but this was nice.

Nice if it was just for you, but most every flight I'm on the FA welcomes "million milers!" Now if only they would just say "and our 2 million milers too!" JK

Well he did use the singular when he said "and a extra special welcome to new million miler on board" but you may be right. The 2.5MM should be carried on in a litter

As a lowly FO I have to carry your bags MSPecon - I know, I know, your carryon is only made from the best rich corinthian leather. I'll be careful.

Now, for OTB and his near 8 MM (hope he's feeling better), he gets carried on.

But since you're a 2.3 MM we will offer good champagne on the ground for 15,000 miles! ;-)

That's 10,000 fewer miles than the SC wants for a bottle.

I was recently on an RJ in F and the purser came and greeted every one of us and thanked us for being a "x Medallion" or "million miler."

To be sure on RJ's the purser doubles as FO during flight and as GA on the ground

I've only ever been personally recognized as a medallion when flying on single-cabin RJs. Go figure.

Maybe I don't fly enough mainline to have a good sample size, but I generally find RJ crews, particularly those from Endeavor, to be a cut above. I recently tweeted Endeavor to recognize great service from the FA in first class. It's too bad that only Delta crews can accept JWDs.
