Did some employee put the labels on as a joke, or is MOAT an acronym for something?

Regardless, quite funny haha.

I was about to say. I'm pretty sure that SFO's lounge is on the main floor.

DOH. Yeah. Was ATL-LAX-SFO outbound, SFO-ATL back. Took picture, posted days later & had SFO on the brain.

The SFO club is up one level from the terminal.

I'm trying to decide if MOAT stands for Missile on Aircraft Test or Mother of All Trips. I hope it's the second one.

The SFO club is now on the boarding gate level just after security.

Yes, the check-in desk is at the boarding gate level. The club itself is up one level. You can go up the stairs or use the elevator to get there.

Here's the upstairs entrance to the club.

I opened this thread expecting to see the Prop. 65 sign in the elevator
WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Thus letting me know that the elevator, like everything else in California, can give me cancer.

I was guessing that the LAX SC was about to start offering really fresh sushi, with an option to catch it oneself on the way to the lounge.

The important aspect is that the ENTRANCE to the club is on the gate level AFTER security. Those who haven't been to SFO for a while, might not realize it is no longer in its former location "up one level" outside security
