Are you referencing something to do with status? Have a trip scheduled in September on a A320 and have the option of buying C+.

4DEF were reserved until T-24 when Medallions could select for free, but seems not any more.

I don't understand why the conclusion is that there is some kind of problem with the A320, rather than just that the C+ section is full.

It is my belief that those seats are held back at the discretion of DL. Therefore, they may not remain blocked and we won't know what conditions they are released under. I frankly support the notion that they NOT be blocked but I understand DL's business purposes for doing so.

I think these seats are set aside for passengers with special needs, but sometimes high tier DL FFers can call and get them when there aren't any other available seats, albeit with the understanding that we will be booted if someone genuinely needs them.

Just remember,A320 aircrafts is scheduled to return to 16F seats with row 4 returning to F. It makes sense delta will withhold row 4 seats until aircraft is assigned just prior to flight. I believe there is already at least one aircraft with the new configuration soon to be more.

Agreed. The things that come up on this board boggle the mind.
