Why Doesn't Delta Sell FC On Some Flights?
Why doesn't Delta sell FC seats on some flights?
Here's an example on delta.com today:
24 Jun 2015 - SEA-ROA - DL 1781, DL 2607
No FC for sell, even though it is two 737s. No way FC is already sold out.

Pretty straightforward. "One Way", "SEA", "ROA", "06/24/2015", "Exact Dates", Show Price in Money, 1 Passengers. "Find Flights".
DL 1781/DL 2607 appears as the 6th option in the list, with the First offering as a $672.10 P fare. The site does say "3 left at this price", though.
One minor correction; note that the aircraft on this route are not what you expected: a 739ER on SEA-ATL and an A319 on ATL-ROA.
Could you be trying to redeem a Delta Reserve companion certificate? Those are capacity controlled, and not everything is available when using them. They can be a bit of a pain to use. Availability may also be different if you're trying to use Pay With Miles...
