Activity is not eligible for mileage credit

Hey guys flew on an x fare class ticket from Dublin to Jfk it posted with the message "Activity is not eligible for mileage credit" called delta on Tuesday they said it would be updated within 24 hours as there was an "IT" issue anyway still nothing should I bother calling or just got straight to an email? Usually wouldn't mind but I'm 2k miles short of a BE award ticket to Australia and wanted to book asap.

Thanks,

So, you're saying that you already have 378,000 miles in your account?

Yes, that's the advertised (lowest) price, but, have you actually found availability at that price?

I've actually found nice availability to Australia when I flew last year, on Virgin Australia.

Remember to go to DPS, and only pay 140k RT, with a "stopover" in Australia.

I think they not allowed on a one way ticket. On a round trip booked last year, they certainly were. Haven't heard that they aren't allowed on a RT, but I may be out of the loop.

Yes you are out of the loop. As of January 1, 2015 you can't even get a 23 hour "layover" on international award tickets anymore!

With all of the frequent / recent "enhancements", ya' might as well call last year - "The Good Ole' Days".

Thanks,
Happened to me as well on ATL-HNL flight. My original flight was cancelled and I was rebooked onto that one. Unsure if that was the issue, but the miles appeared about 15 min after calling.

Huh? What's the limit now? Only 4? Even paid international tickets allow 24.
