Will I lose my 2015 choice gifts if I don't choose before qualifying in 2016

Will I lose my 2015 choice gifts if I don't choose before qualifying in 2016
I haven't chosen my 2015 PM or DM gifts yet (I want to wait until I need the RUY and GU's before selecting them for the longest possible expiration date).
Two questions.
1. When is the last possible day to select the 2015 gifts (I know this has been answered a few times but I can't find any of the posts).
2. If I qualify for 2016 status before selecting the 2015 gifts, will I lose them? Thanks to a lot of rollover form an excessive amount of flying this year I will roll over 100K miles and be PM and will have the 125K MQM's by late January or mid-feb.

For #2, once you get the choices, they won't take them away. When you get the next status, you get new ones. For example, I have only chosen my 2014 DM benefits, so I have left to choose my 2014 PM and 2015 PM and DM benefits.

Basically you can select benefits up until the last day of the status that earned them -- so for status earned due to your flying in 2014 (which I believe is officially called 2015 status) you can select until 1/31/16. And you can have multiple choice benefit selections outstanding simultaneously; you won't lose any. Just make sure to select the older ones first as you go to use them.

I recently had a similar question and sent Delta an email. I think the answer is clarifying.
"According to our records, we show that you didn't miss out on your 2013
Choice Benefits. You selected four Systemwide Upgrades on January 30,
2014. For 2014, you still have time to make your selection. You can do
so at any time, but no later than February 28, 2015. For your 2015
Choice Benefits, you have until January 31, 2016 to make your selection."
