Does Delta fly JFK-CUN?
Good afternoon. I see on their route map Delta flies JFK to Cancun but am having difficulty finding any non-stop flights during February. I can find code-shares on AeroMexico and flights via Atlanta but thats it.
Feb seems like the peak month for Cancun and Delta has flights from Hartford, Columbus and Indianapolis so i'd have to assume there's at least a few flights a week from JFK, right?
I've come to have zero faith in delta.com which is why i'm asking here. What am i missing?

No Delta metal nonstops between JFK and CUN.
The US-Mexico bilateral is currently quite restrictive and only allows 2-3 carriers from each side for each US-Mexico city pair. CUN allows 3 US carriers in the NYC-CUN market, and those slots have already been taken up by AA (JFK), B6 (JFK), and UA (EWR).

Correct there is no Delta metal nonstop on JFK-CUN. I took the Aero Mexico nonstop last month. It was on a brand new 737-800. Aero Mexico has very good service in coach with free: AVOD, alcohol and a good meal in each direction. I think Delta has a better Business Class but I would still fly Aero Mexico Business just to take the nonstop. The FA's were very friendly and professional.
Based on my experience, I would take Aero Mexico over Delta on this route. They are a very good Sky Team partner.^
