Where does Delta predict this (I'm assuming it's this year's flying translated into next year's program)?

An email, targeted perhaps?

Got one, too. I'd get an extra 30k RDMs or so based on the same spending (but that won't happen....I won't be flying every single week next year)

I got it too and I'm Silver. They're trying to claim I'd get 2x the number of miles next year, given my spending (I assume your's also said:

"Customers who spend more with us will earn more. FYI, That's you. We definitely appreciate your business and the 2015 SkyMiles program is going to reflect that. Because you spend more with us, you'll be better rewarded in 2015. Scroll down to see exactly how you'll earn miles and how it'll be easier to use them."
What I don't understand is...What they're saying I spent in 2014 so far is not what appears on MQDs when I log into Delta. Are MQDs different?

My spending number was wildly off too. They said I'd spent more than double what I actually spent during the Jan-Aug period.

Never saw this email. Instead they give me some garbage on the advantages of the 2015 program.

I didn't even get that one! I really fell un-loved by Delta.

I'm gonna' do really well according to them...and they haven't even seen what my boss has me lined up for next year.

He got me getting way too close to 2 million miles next year, which I would have never thought would be possible.

Smart marketing. It is, of course, predictive based on past spend and flying patterns, but it shows that the changes are a zero-sum game. There are winners and losers.

Some happy winners and some unhappy losers.

Way of the world.

Got it too. My earnings would be 90%+ higher if it were under the new scheme. Many of us have been saying earnings will be much better under the new way of awarding RDM.

This is what I got:

JAN-AUG 2014 2014 PROGRAM 2015 PROGRAM

DOLLARS SPENT $18,500 $18,500

MILES EARNED TOWARD
AWARD TRAVEL 154,000 MILES 203,500 MILES

I was probably at $12,000 in August, and will be around $15,500 by the end of the year. So a bit of a stretch but not as much as others. (Or DL knows how much they are raising fares next year.)

I got the e-mail.

It said, based on my January to August trips/spend, I would earn 489,500 miles from January through August 2015 versus my 282,500 in those same months in 2014
