Close to zero percent as GM on NYC-MCO. Used to be 90% as recently as 6 months ago. Complete FCM on this route. I now sit in the first row of EC and get to watch the snack basket service in F on the 3pm LGA-MCO run. As an added bonus I have to hit the MQD target to maintain this "status".

Good to know Delta would rather clear that $100 than upgrade a few DMs. Thought flying weekends was supposed to help my upgrade percentage.

At least you get EC. I haven't even been able to land an EC seat this year. Checking seat maps compulsively has only gotten me out of center seats to the wonderful row behind EC where the extra EC recline but shortened pitch means I can smell people's shampoo (or lack thereof). I flew Sunday on a 772 ATL-LAX and was #16 out of ~85 (DM on Q fare) w/ 1 seat left out of 36. When I checked 3 days out there were ~14 seats in FC left which fell to 3 by check in. Then I checked the pricing and FC seats were $100 more one way.

They way I see it; there is way more time spent complaining about these things; when we all know the situation (and obviously this has been discussed over and over and over again on FlyerTalk.. so everyone is super-duper clear about the concept of FCM and how Delta operates)
There are basically two choices :
(a) Stop flying Delta and/or become loyal to another airline that will treat you better
or (b) Just purchase the damn First Class (FCM) fare on these routes, and be done with it.
Delta has made it very clear what their goals and objectives are.
You, as a customer, have a choice.

First GM upgrade of the year (took a Y fare on a rare route), is this a sign of things to come? Upgraded 12 hours prior to flight out of JFK this afternoon, currently heavy snow storm, thinking upgrade = better odds it'll be cancelled.
Inbound leaves in 40 mins, GL me.
1/8 on the year

January:
Friday RDU-DTW CR7 (Y): Yes, At Gate
February:
Friday RDU-ATL M88 (V): No, 34 of 41
Friday ATL-MDW 320 (V): No, 18 of 18
March:
Saturday ORD-DTW E75 (V): Yes, ~T-36
Saturday DTW-RDU CR9 (V): No, 6 of 6
Yearly total: 40.00% (2/5)
I'm now Delta Status-Less (these were as a FO) so those will be my last stats this year unless I get back to status which is unlikely.

As a platinum I started the year 7/10 (70%) but the last 8 flights have been 1/8 (12.5%) so I am now 8/18 for the year (44%). I have 6 flights next week and have only been granted upgrades on 1 thus far so I suspect my average will continue to decline. All flights have been weekday flights thus far.
