NCL next promo "Kids Sail Free" (of all ages) book July 1 to 5th
Here you have it -
NCL's next round of Kids Sail Free (of all ages, not just those 21 or 18 and under qualify for this deal) so basically any and all 3rd. and 4th. passengers sharing the same cabin will only need to paid port taxes, surcharges & fees, etc. plus gratitudes. It's for new bookings only - cancel existing booking if not beyond final payment & cancellation deadline with penalty, but, you could lose OBC, etc.
Cruisers on CruiseCritic are buzzing all over for this, even some unfilled summer sailings are available - thru April 2015, excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year & holiday blackout (Winter/Spring break ??)
It's possible to book a Suite & above or 2 BR for 6, and only pay "regular" rates for 1st. two adults - do your own math & calculate the savings, could be worthwhile - and if you got miles to burn to fly out of MIA or ports nearby, even the newest megaship - the Getaway is in on this. Mrs. L got an offer of a free stateroom for two, 7 nights - East Caribbeans on the Gateaway for August, very tempting - but that's a different story (I hate hot tropical weather, so )
Check your favorite online TA sites and/or personal TA about possibilities - it's possible to get extra OBC on top of NCL's own offer (from the major travel booking sites and/or cruise only specialists often mentioned here).

We also use vacationstogo.com to watch for options. If you find a cruise you like, you might also check out cruisecompete.com . At that site, you list the cruise you are interested in, and various TA's will offer you quotes. Sometimes you will see better offers than those advertised on websites.

I recommend using Crucon. When they have their holiday special offers for cruises, you can save a lot of money. Booked a Panama Canal cruise for 2015 and got $400 off the advertised fare, free gratuities, free drink package, and $100 OBC. If the price go down on the base fare, they will give you the difference in onboard credit.
Gate 1 will sometimes offer their river cruises at a discounted price for a 1 week timeframe. Booked a Rhine river cruise for $999. for late October. The following week, Gate 1 advertised the Danube River cruise for the same price. This is a savings of $1500 per person. Sign up for their email specials.

Can you say nickel and dime?
Nothing is free. You may will find yourself more on one of these cheapie cruises for just about everything. They may charge for things that boggle your mind.
You get what you pay for.
YMMV

Inexpensive cruises: Skip holidays and when school is out. If you can drive to the port and don't care when you go then check under 90 days before departure. Be flexible, Miami and FLL are close and a ton of ships departs each Sat and Sun.
Shoulder Season: May and Sept in Alaska. Summer in the Carib.
Repositioning cruises especially across the Atlantic.

Found the cheapest deal I've every seen and figured I would share it:
$70pp for a 4 Night Western Caribbean Cruise on Carnival Ecstasy.
http://www.rockbottomcruises.com/cheapest_cruise.html
It is for December 8th so very last minute...but an awesome deal nonetheless.
EDIT: Price went up, I posted it to slickdeals and it went viral,
