NCL Epic - Transatlantic 10/21/12 - Newbie Question

Hello Fellow FTers,

I would like to book the NCL Epic for their 13-day Transatlantic cruise from Barcelona - Miami. Where should I do the booking in order to get the best "bang for my buck" (Onboard Credits, Upgrades, Freebies, etc)? I would like to book a Balcony.

Thanks for your expert recommendations....

I suggest using cruisecompete.com where you enter the cruise and dates you want, and travel agents will send you their deals with fares and on-board credit, etc. We use it all the time to get the best deals.

Max, is this your first cruise? While I second the cruise compete suggestion, pick your cabin carefully on such a big ship. If you haven't spent time on cruise critic.com, I suggest you take a look over there, especially the NCL board, the port of call forums and the review section. Have a great trip.

I've heard good things on here about cruise compete, but I have preferred to use a couple of sites- vacationstogo.com followed by smartcruiser.com comparing with sites like cruise.com

Personally I like to see the numbers myself, and don't like real people pitching me... Just the antisocial in me I guess.

I now book through casinos at sea (ncl gaming program) for super rates- if you play at all get a card and get rated!

Cruised on the Epic in a b1 balcony over new years- fantastic ship, make sure you book things like Cirque lunch and blue man (can do this online precruise).

Epic is a great ship! TA trip is really nice( we took it this spring) not many people and so shows are really easy to book, I went to see Blue Men Group twice

I stronlgly recomend balcony!

If you are with NCL, try their Latitudes hot deals, you get more points and reach their platinum level faster.

Have a nice trip
