I know this is an old thread, but it's most recent one that came up regarding this promotion. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with amex GC and this promotion. Do amex gc count for this? Am on my third month and would like to maximize % back. Thanks for any info.

Discover Card $300 Cash Back Promo
I received a Discover card mailer in the mail yesterday. I was going to trash it because I thought it was another snail mail from Discover. Not sure why, but I opened it up and read it. Spend $2k from Aug 1st to Dec 31st. Earn $300 cash back bonus on top of the regular cash back you earn.
Have to sign up by July 31st.
I used this card like once a year when I get this kind of offer. The last offer I got was "earn $75 cash back after $1k spend".
